2012 Public ATV Conservation Tour in Muskingum CountySat, Dec 10th, 2011 2012 Conservation tour on ATV's being planned in Muskingum County. Mark your calendar! An ATV ride to view various conservation practices, including EQIP water quality practices constructed on Beagle Hill Farms, is being planned for July 12, 2012. This public ride will be escorted across approximately 40 miles of roads and byways in Muskingum County by deputies from the office of Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz. OSU Summer Pasture Walk ProgramMon, Jul 19th, 2010 The OSU Extension Service / USDA NRCS is scheduling their summer pasture walk program at our lower pastures (Johnston Farm), to be held during the week of July 19. The focus of this evening will be construction techniques for EQIP contracts, and general innovative pasture / water quality enhancements. They want to show a farm that is in mid-phase of changes. A sit down program and dinner will be held in the Haybarn afterwards. View Article |
